In winter we train on Salt Ayre Astroturf, Salt Ayre Sports Centre (Near ASDA) between 7pm and 8pm. You will need trainers and a gumshield. CHECK THE LATEST NEWS SCROLLER STANDARD OF PLAY Our first team (mens) play in Division 4 of the North West Counties Amateur Rugby League. There are 7 divisions, so this is a high standard, a remarkable achievement for a club not based in one of the traditional rugby league areas. Our embryonic ladies team was only formed during the 1999/2000 season, when the played a number of friendlies. The following season they joined the W.A.R.L.A. National League Structure. Although finding it demanding against some quality opposition they fulfilled every fixture and began to compete in every game. This season the ladies have won their first fixtures against well established opposition, and continue to go from strength to strength. If you are interested in joining the Atoms, simply come down to one of the training sessions and introduce yourself, or contact one of the club coaches. If you live in the Lancaster area, or play for the University or St. Martins, then contact Rob Shaw. Most of our players come from The Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham area, but some come from as far afield as Kendal, so we may be able to arrange a lift.
