The Atoms try was scored by livewire scrum half and converted by Neil Walker. The Atoms lost fullback Gavin Winder who was knocked cold by an accidental crack on the head from Bryan Cambidge. The second period was another tight affair with Pilkington's scoring two converted trys to make the result safe. On the day the Atoms best performers were Liam Hall, Russ Birkett and Rory Batson.
