Andy Aldren has been a stalwart at the club for the last 15 years.He originally started on the wing for the first two years until he moved in to the forwards and since then he has never looked back.He makes nearly every training session and always helps out if its needed,even though he once had a perm and I have the photos to prove it.He has played more games for the atoms than anyone but unfortunately has not scored that many tries as he will tell you himself if you can get more than half a dozen words out of him.
When I'm writing the team sheet he is always the first name to put down and it has been that way for years and when it comes to a bit of agro on the field he is never far away(he usually starts it).
I think when the day comes for him to hang up his boots nobody will believe it and the way he is playing I hope it's a long time off yet!
